It’s the holiday season and that means lots of parties, dressing up and experimenting with your holiday makeup. This year, I want to try the newest trend in makeup which is “ombre” lips. That means using two to three colors to create a 3D effect. This look was seen on Kenneth Cole’s runaway like the model pictured above. There simple steps you can do to achieve this look!
- Before starting, make sure your lips are exfoliated and moisturized. Also, to prevent the color from bleeding, use a clear lip pencil on the perimeter of your lips. Try our Prévia CLEAR WATERPROOF LIP PENCIL.
- Line your lips with a medium shade and fill a little towards the center. This will also help define your lips. Try our Lip Pencil in GLACIER.
- Next take a darker lip pencil and do a second outline but blend into the inner lips with a lip brush. Remember to leave space for the first color. Our Lip Pencil in TANGO works wonderfully.
- The last step will be a “highlighting” lipstick to go on the poutier part of your lips. Carefully put on Prévia Lipstick in HIP using a lip brush and blend well.
Finish off your look with a minimal eye makeup look. Try a winged eyeliner with our Liquid Eye Liner in ONYX and dabbing eyeshadow in WISPER on the corner of your eyes to brighten them up.
