Having a fresh face in the summer is hard with the hot, muggy/humid weather. Remember less is best. However, we want to accentuate your summer glow. You don’t want to appear like you are melting under the hot sun, plus thick makeup is bad for your skin.
Dr. Wright’s Tip
Become a bronze goddess by brushing on a light shimmering powder instead of foundation. A bronzer is great for contouring and gives your skin a hint of color. Bronzers make your eyes look brighter and your teeth whiter. They also give you a natural sun-kissed look. To keep the results looking natural and fresh, we recommend you apply bronzer just in the high points of your face, where the sun will naturally hit your cheekbones, forehead, nose and chin. My Prévia Cosmetics Bronzers with 3 shades in Sunkissed Bronzer Pearl, Exotic Blend, Golden Goddess with a matte finish, are a perfect chose! Next, for the eyes, apply a light shimmer eyeshadow to make them pop. Light vanilla which is called Wisper is great under the brow bone. For oily skin, use matte eyeshadow to reduce shine. For dry skin, aim for a cream but only use on the lid of the eye to avoid creasing. Lastly, finish your look with a waterproof mascara to avoid “Raccoon Eyes” that are caused by perspiration.
