Red is the color of passion, love, and desire. The intensity of red is something that can turn the heads of people as you simply walk by, especially with a pearly picturesque smile. Seeing how red is one of the two colors that is most sensitive to the human eye; it’s no surprise that it captures the attention of many people. Therefore, it’s important to choose the right red color for your skin tone.
Dr. Wright’s Tip
Red lipstick makes a statement, regardless of whether you intend to or not. Before you start your hunt, there are some things you want to keep in mind. First of all, not all shades of red work for everyone. You have to consider your skin tone. For example, if you have a cool complexion, then go for a bluish red or pinkish red color. For warmer complexions, use a hue of red with a brown base. Also, be sure you consider the rest of your makeup to complement red lips. VIVA is a great red color from my Prévia Cosmetic collection, which would compliment many skin tones. When you apply the lip color, be sure that you are very precise with the application. Apply lip liner first, then the lipstick, and top it off with a clear lip-gloss and voila!
