Tanning is a NO, NO. Instead of tanning, bronze lightly with an airbrush, this will add a more realistic glow.

I know how it feels to want to get that beautiful tan. However, you know that heading to the tanning booth isn’t a good option for your skin, but perhaps when you learn the dangers from the FDA, you’ll see the light and stay out of it.

Dr. Wright’s Tip
Did you know about 90% of non-melanoma skin cancer is caused by ultra-violet exposure. This means lying in a tanning bed is harmful to your health. Light sources in tanning salons are two to three times more powerful than the UVA rays which occur naturally from the sun. Over time, the effects of too much UVA exposure can lead to eye damage, immune system changes, cataracts, wrinkles, premature aging of the skin, and skin cancers. There are other alternatives to having a tan. Try using bronzers or sugar-based, spray-on tans. Sugar-Based sprays blend with your skin for color that lasts up to ten days.
